W tym czasie żałoby łączymy się z Rodziną Królewską, z narodem brytyjskim, w modlitwie za duszę Królowej Elżbiety II, a jednocześnie w podzięce Bogu za Jej życie, w którym kierowała się swą głęboką wiarą i niezrównanym poczuciem obowiązku w służbie swemu krajowi oraz w wytrwałym działaniu dla dobra szerszej wspólnoty narodów.
Z wdzięcznością za 70 lat panowania Królowej Elżbiety, które dało stabilną podstawę w czasach szybkich przemian świata, a także inspirację w kształtowaniu współczesnej Wielkiej Brytanii, wspominamy Jej wizję jedności w różnorodności. Konsekwentne akcentowanie przez Królową i obronę wartości naczelnych, ze swej natury niezmiennych, a przy tym uznanie potrzeby pielęgnowania dziedzictwa wiary, kultury i tożsamości narodów. W ramach tej wizji wielu Polaków znalazło w tym kraju nie tylko schronienie w latach politycznych wstrząsów, ale i klimat wolności działania dla dobra Polski, a także Wielkiej Brytanii, oraz możliwości realizacji swych osobistych, życiowych celów.
Modlimy się, aby Bóg dał Królowej wieczny odpoczynek i darzył Ją wiecznym szczęściem Swej łaski.
Modlimy się też o łaski Boże dla Króla Karola III. Aby Bóg – jedyny Władca Książąt i Królów – prowadził Go i wspierał nieustannie w służbie narodowi i dobru innych krajów. Aby błogosławił Jego panowaniu na jak najdłuższe lata.

Prayer for the Royal Family
Almighty God, source of all consolation,
we pray for the members of the Royal Family who mourn the loss
of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
Uphold them in your love
and pour out on them the consolation of your healing Spirit.
Let them find in your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ,
comfort in their sadness,
certainty in their doubt
and courage to live through this hour.
We ask this through Christ our Lord,
